Thank you so much, we are all traumatised and I have no voice after our government has shut down any reports of demonstrations and made them racist anyway.
Plus the final straw was the reply sent by my MP, after my anguish made me ask what were we doing about this!
Thank you for saying what we are all feeling and knowing! The children were the whole worlds to protect, & there is no greater sin than the murder of a child
I am forever change and broken by what the world has allowed for the precious, beloved children of Palestine. Never to forgive any complicit government, anyone who hasn't lifted a finger or said a word. Thank you for always articulating that we are the sane ones.
Thank you for these words, Clementine. Your description of a mother's love is beautiful. As I look at my phone and see the shattered and lifeless bodies of children slaughtered by Israel's genocidal attack on Gaza and the West Bank, my eyes fill with tears as I see, at the same time, my four grandchildren who look the same as these children and who, but for a fact of birthplace, could be dodging bombs and bullets. People who can kill children, as Israel has done, have no soul. I have written numerous emails to Penny Wong and the PM as well as my local Labor member, and if I receive a response at all, it is formulaic and never addresses the issues I raise or the questions I ask. I want to know how they can aid and abet this genocide of innocent children and still maintain any semblance of humanity? You are right, this is not normal, and it is tearing the heart and soul out of this nation and the world.
Thank you for writing like you do. My heart breaks on a daily basis, not just from witnessing or from my inability to stop it, but from knowing that I am part of a system which has engineered this, which sees and doesn't care, and that I share the planet with people who justify this.
Thank you for using your voice and platform to speak up for what is right. I can't bear the duality of life right now, it's so hard to work and parent and be 'normal' when it feels like nothing will ever be normal again. And harder still to see so many people unaffected by what's happening. I sometimes feel like I am going mad. It helps to know I'm not alone. x
'..a psychopathic nation filled with psychopaths' .
That's what I thought of Australia after the failure of the Voice referendum.
Using the model of a mother's love as a moral compass seems normal enough except that one of Israel's psychopathic prime ministers ( Golda Meir) said something similar. When they (the "Arabs" love their children more than they hate us, the wars will stop, she is supposed to have said. She had two children.
Crucially, she said 'they' when she should have said 'we'.
Is there a 'normal' ? I think not and even if there was, who will enforce a return to it? Not social media.
Thank you for always being able to put all these feelings into such beautiful words

Plus- our government has been bought out by Russians and Zionists….
I never thought I’d say such a thing in all my 72 years

They are all our children and Israel is the monster we have nightmares about but which Palestinians experience in reality. Thank you Clementine.

Thank you for putting into words what do many of us are thinking, every day. We will never accept this as normal.

Other than that, I agree with you, 100%
