I’m glad you’ll be disengaging from the U.S. presidential election (no words about the Senate). It’s an absolute shit show how some progressives are actually wanting Harris to lose. I watched one person on instagram saying there should be no fun had while a genocide takes place. This person claims to be a therapist!

The amount of criticism focused on Harris yet nothing about Dump except ‘of course he’s a despot’ is infuriating.

Please be present, feel pleasure & hope, see how precious the environment is & how miraculous the human spirit is when we don’t give in to nihilism ❤️‍🩹🍉💙

I think it's a myth that your teenagers won't nothing to do with you. I was made to believe the same but your relationship with your children evolves and it's a wonderful thing. My daughter (17) and I have a great time together. We make each other laugh and have the best conversations. You have all that to look forward to! Enjoy the trek! 💛

Oh Clem this had me weeping. I've been feeling that grief that comes with your child growing older and more independent very recently. It's hard. Take care and thank you x

Lovely post and so enjoyed the voice note instead as well ! I don’t know if it helps, but I can say I totally understand the feeling of loss through change as our kids get older, and while your relationship with your son will change as he becomes a teenager, it can be so magical getting to know this amazing adult human you’ve created and nurtured. My funny, caring 16 yo son is by far my favourite person to hang out with, help to teach and also learn from. Safe travels and looking forward to hearing about your adventures xx
