"dragges through the sewer". Yup. Nailed it. Made me teary to here it phrases that way. Women get dragged through the sewer whilst their abuser gets further revered on their pedestal. I was so dissapointed to see a number of my female friends posting support for Amber Heard's abuser. I quietly unfriended them.

So people have been studying this “whipping girl” syndrome. Since the 60’s they’ve measured misogyny against women and men have done it steadily since then. They’ve not plateaued, men have just been steady in their open hatred towards women.

It’s 2023 and women now surpass men in pedalling misogynistic rhetoric towards women. It’s actually really really scary. The patriarchy really does stand strongly because women are being misogynistic towards women. It’s unbelievable.

The patriarchy has been so successful in convincing so many women that we are the enemy. It makes me so sad. Yet on the other hand I feel uplifted that we're not all brainwashed by it. The mere fact that I can see when other women pedal misogyny means that patriarchy isn't winning at least in my brain, if nowhere else.

Jeez, sounds exactly like the Christian Porter case. Named himself and then tried to destroy the victim.

I saw a post this morning about Marilyn Manson. He's been accused of sexual assault to a minor. I shared the post, pointing out that he's good friends with JD. So many people have given me stick for it already. And they're all women.

It amazes me that people seem to think that the persona these scumbags present to the public are real. I get that it's upsetting when you find out someone you admire is a piece of shit but that's life. I was gutted when I realized JK Rowling was a TERF but just because I loved reading her stories doesn't mean she's a wonderful person.

I deleted a bunch of “friends” on social media over the Amber Heard thing at the time. None of them knew that I am in a DA situation myself and struggling to get out, but the way they do readily believed Depp and completely vilified Heard made me realise that when I eventually get out, there are people who call themselves a “friend” who will probably not believe me. They were all women who believed Depp simply because of who he is, completely ignoring the evidence against him. It makes me sick that men hold this kind of power!

We’re having a really REALLY hard time accepting that we can be good to one person and a dick to another (if we’re not examining ourselves daily). It’s allowing such awful behaviour to continue

I lol’d a lot at alcoholic dipshit. The defamation trial should never have been televised to the public.

Hi Clementine, thanks for sharing some with un-paying subscribers....some positions we get ourselves into make anything to do with finance 😳. But really enjoy what you share...so thanks.

Some people I randomly spoke to about Brand are saying that "they" (the powers that be?) have set that whole situation up to get rid of Brands outspokenness that's not supportive of the status quo? Personally I've never taken to the guy, instinctive turning away from the beginning: hence I don't know what he's on about when he's not yelling about how badly done by he is..at the mo. x
